Wizart’s film “The Snow Queen: Mirrorlands” is the only Russian cartoon in competition of Palm Springs International Animation Festival (PSIAF).
The film is named the headliner of the show along with the picture “I lost my body” by the French director Jeremy Clapin city portal Palm Springs Life. The fourth installment of the Snow Queen franchise will be shown on December 14 at the Mary Pickford Theater in Catedral City, California. The film will be presented personally by the composer of the movie, Fabrizio Mancinelli.
The PSIAF showing will be the U.S. premiere, and the filmmakers will be on hand for a panel discussion afterwards. Hoff calls Mirrorlands “colorful, fabulous, and very adventurous.”
Palm Springs International Film Festival is one of the largest film festivals in California, USA. Every year more than 2,700 applications from 103 countries are sent to participate in the festival, from which the jury selects 250 films (both shorts and features) to participate in the competition.
