Former Walt Disney storywriter Robert Lence has joined ‘The Snow Queen 3′ scriptwriters’ team. Renowned animator and storywriter in partnership with Wizart is to continue Gerda and her friends’ adventures as scriptwriter and story consultant. In cooperation with ‘The Snow Queen 3’ scriptwriters — Alexey Tsitsilin, Vladimir Nikolaev, Aleksey Zamyslov, Andrey Korenkov — Lence is to contribute to the script of ‘The Snow Queen’ trequel and also is to expert the storyboard artists.

«This film is a great piece of entertainment: good classic story-telling in its tradition, good characters, stories that go very deep, take at the heart – ‘Snow Queen’ has it all», Lence comments. «I think it was a big jump from ‘Snow Queen’ to ‘Snow Queen 2′. And I’m sure the third installment is going to see a great jump as well. I was impressed with the level of artistry of Wizart team. It’s very high level of animation.  «We are happy to have Lence in our creators’ team,» Snow Queen producer Yury Moskvin says. «Our aim is to bring every new Wizart project to a new level in terms of story and quality of CG. So, I’m sure Robert’s presence would be an invaluable contribution to the new ‘Snow Queen’ story».

After heroically defeating both the Snow Queen and the Snow King, Gerda still dreams to find her parents taken away by the North Wind and reunite the family. Thus, Gerda and her friends embark on an exciting journey to find her parents and encounter new challenges along the way.

«I’m really charmed with wonderful World of the Trolls that the authors have created, it brings a unique story to the animated film. ‘Snow Queen’ is a good message for kids – importance of families and friends combined with humor and fun. The characters realize how they really need each other, the true value of being a family,» Lence says.

Having worked in Walt Disney Animation Studio, Pixar and Dream Works, Robert Lence served as one of the ‘Beauty and the Beast’, ‘A Bug’s Life’ and ‘Home on the Range’ writers, story supervisor on ‘The Toy Story’, storywriter on ‘Tinker Bell’, ‘Shrek’.
